I couldn't post this in the Hot News and New Stuff Forum. Just got this e-mail of a nice looking hard cased lipo. I just wanted to share the photo. I have pricing, but I won't be selling or posting them as I was to see how much vendors will add on this one.

Edit: Forgot to add that they come in 3600, 3800, 4000 and 5000mAh all 2S.

Sorry, I'm not going to post pricing until I see what the dealers will be selling them for. Venom sells the 5000mAh for $99.99. My price would be lower, but I want to see what dealers will sell them for.

I didn't say anything about performance. Some dealer will eventually get some and then you will get the answer. They are nice looking that's all.

I can ask them if they can do flags or maybe some glow in the dark. I know one guy who wants hot pink.

Yes. Maybe I'll ask for a half Brasilian/USA. I have actually asked for some samples of the packs. Lets see if I can get them and show some data of them.

I'm still using my Kong Power packs and I love them. I use 2 3S 5000mAh in my BPP truggy 22.2v, 2 2S 5000mAh in my TC3 and I have a 3S 1600mAh in my MLST. The hard cased one is not from Kong Power. It would be nice if they were though. I still haven't recieved a response to see if I can get some samples in. BTW when I'm not using 6S in my BPP, I'm using 10S 4600mAh Thunder Power with my 1521/1.5Y. Just love high voltage and how cool everything runs.

I don't use a LVC in my BPP with the Kong Power and I usually drive my truck for around 20 minutes. The 2S and 3S fit nicely in my TC3. The Kong Power 5000mAh packs are 155mm long or just a little shorter then 7 cell nicad.

I beat the crap out of them. They are really good. Too bad I couldn't be the distributor for them in the US, but the price is good at readyheli. They say an LVC is supposed to be used in cars. That is mainly because of the burst we get at starting a car. If the pack is showing sign of losing power and someone brakes and then pegs the throttle, that could damage the cells. I usually run for 20 minutes and that still leaves enough juice in the pack. I only say 20 minutes, because most of the time the drive train doesn't handle longer runs. Awesome little controller. Yes, I'm running 4S lipos in my TC3 Truggy with the HV4.5 motor. Too much power for the TC3 Truggy, but it's very fun to drive. If you want the same controller get a Venom 120A http://www.venom-group.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=VEN%2D1339. It kind of sucks that when I approached HW about making a car controller they said they were not thinking about it. Then they did make one and I got the only unit in the USA, but when it was time to start buying them HW told me they didn't want to loose their friendship with Speed Passion. Now you see Venom and Orion coming out with the same controllers. I gave HW some ideas of how I want my controller and I'm still waiting for an answer. HW told me I had to buy 2000 units a year and I told HW I can buy 2000 unit right now as I can cover USA and Brasil, but still no answer. I will be helping another company make a car controller and I will make sure it will be better then the HW (Speed Passion, Venom and Orion). This company will also be releasing some very high power controllers and I'm asking them to make them for 1/8 and 1/5 scale cars. I have attached pictures of the 200A controller they'll be making.

If that ESC can sell for less than a monster max, you'll probably have a huge demand. Even if it does sell for more, if it does up to 12s lipo, a lot of guys at RC-monster (which I know you frequent as well) will buy it!

Yes, I have to keep my lips sealed sorry. BTW there will be another 20S controller in the future :D and when I pictures of it in about 8-10 weeks, I'll post something here or in RC-Monster. I'm working on a few things now. I have a few designs for 1/8 scale Truggy and Buggy. I have also a super Truggy that will be powered by 20S lipos. I want to post pictures of my designs, but with so many companies doing 1/8 scale conversions, I'm afraid they would just copy my design. I'm waiting for RC-Monster Mike to make the 2 designs I sent him. I'm going to also talk to Mr. C and see if he can make a few custom chassis for me.

The 20S won't be used to show how to get insane power, but to show people how to get the same power as a 6S race set up without using very high AMPs. I think around 2000 watts will be good power. So with 6S one will need 90A, with 12S 49A and 20S 27A. So for 20S all you will need is some of the current 2200-2500mAh packs or 20S A123. I think 10-12S would be ideal for racing and 20S would be just to show how to get maybe 1hr run time.

For the car controller that I'll be helping them with, I will make sure they get all the features possible to make a reliable controller.

I could've been doing a lot more, but my time is limited.

Alright, got an answer and I've asked for 2 samples of each capacity (3600, 3800, 4000 and 5000mAh) and I also asked for flag designs. I have also asked for something unique and only one company has it, but I will wait for an answer on that after I post here. Let's see what will happen.

They might make me pay for the samples which I hate doing, specially when they can only accept Wire Transfers. A nice sticker will do for me LOL.

I'll see if he wants to have his own brand of lipos. I would love to see some RC-Monster lipos and BL ESCs.

HV for RC-Monster would be nice. I'm going to add my Neu 1521/1.5Y back in my BPP truck and do some running with it on 10S lipo. I hope my HV controllers come out soon. They won't be full of features. I just hope it gets the job done.
