It certainly looks like the Rhode Island Summer Smash will be the definitive Diecast Convention Event this summer.

My good friend Carl Chaffin from Dayton, Texas will be there.
Carl and his wife Sherrill are anchors at both of the Mattel HotWheels Conventions each year.
Their room is always setup like a Diecast Store.

As has been the case for the last 6 Conventions I will be making personal Giveaway Customs for Carl to share in the ongoing trend of exchanging and giving selfmade Customs during the festivities.

I hope to see this wonderful pasttime and terrific means of sharing the Customizing Hobby continue at the Rhode Island Summer Smash.

Rhode Island was the 13th of the original 13 colonies to join the United States of America. Rhode Island officially became a state on May 29, 1790. The capital city is Providence, which is also the largest city. Rhode Island is bordered by Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York (water border).
