In a brushed motor, the magnets are attached to the stationary part of the motor and the wiring is on the spinning part (armature). Brushes are used to transmit the current from the stationary wires to the rotating windings. These brushes create friction and in time get burned up. On a brushless motor, the magnets are on the spinning armature and the windings are on the stationary part. The only thing that contacts the spinning armature are the bushings, so there is very little frictional loss. Speed control is through a special controller, which only works with brushless motors; you can't mix a brushed ESC with a brushless motor. Brushless motors are available as inrunners (spinning aramture on the inside) which are better for high speed and/or gearbox applications; and outrunners (spinning armature on the outside) which are better for high torque and/or direct drive applications.

O ok i got most of that lol so is that why the brushless lift the plane faster and easier??
