Nick built two models, one with a 44 inch span and retractsgear, one without gear and a 40 inch span. both fly great!

I have been salivating over this plane since I saw Nick's prototype a while back. Just got my latest issue of MAN and called RCStore to order the plans and they have no record of them being available!!! Any idea when we can actually order them?? Carlton Campbell

Thank you for the heads up -- the folks at RC Store have them now! You should be able to order no problem. If you aren't able to, please email me at man@airage.com and we'll take care of the problem. Happy building!

Thanks for your help; my plans are now on order. NIck was back in the NY area on the 4th and had his planes out to our field. What an exciting little aircraft!! I've already started getting my materials together just from the info in the MAN article. CC

Just saw the Turbinator E fly at Warbirds over De. and was amazed at its performance off of the grass field. I had already ordered my plans before seeing it fly and now it will be pushed up to the build board as soon as the plans arrive.
One thought though, the article and pics show Robart retracts that are not available anywhere (tower doesnt stock and Robarts site has them as "TBA"). Any ideas what can be used instead? possibly the Spring Air mini's?
