Everyone who entered the ThunderDome came away a Winner!!!!!!!
20 Men enter, 1 Man leaves with everything, but everyone leaves happy.
We the Builders and Racers just did what we normally do, make Customs.
But as I know from staging Events like this, Gunn put in hours and hours of thought and effort.
His attention to detail is meticulous.
I thought he should have something to remember this first ThunderDome so I sent him a set of cars to memorialize the Event.
The Dairy Delivery was filed and progressively sanded of every scar, pimple and imperfection.
The ever present and notoriously ugly flash across the nose was deleted and all window openings and wheel wells were filed and sanded.
Headlights and front blinkers were ground down and drilled out.
Windshield and rear windows were trimmed in Silver.
Center Caps turn an otherwise ordinary factory wheel into Custom Wheels.
Shot with Primer and then two coats of Shimrin White.
Then comes SnowWhite Pearl followed by InterCoat Clear and SnowWhite Pearl.
Then she's taped off and shot LimeTime Pearl with a couple of drops of Organic Kandy Green Intensifier and Spring Green Pearl-Ex Powder.
Decals are applied, Rhinestone Headlights installed and front blinkers filled with Neon Yellow House Of Kolor.
Rear Blinkers are covered with Bare Metal Chrome foil, painted accordingly and then cleared for permanence.
Check out the Chrome Gas Cap on the right side.
Just one more way to use these Chrome Center Caps for realism.
Two coats of House Of Kolor Clear with a very heavy dose of Aztec Gold Pearl-Ex Powder.
Rivet Reassembly.
All paint is House Of Kolor Products, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the Dairy paired up with the '69 Chevelle.
Gunn got the one with Red-Orange-Green flames and I kept an identical Chevelle with Orange-Yellow-Green flames.
The Chevelles are also fully detailed with all imperfections removed.
Real Flame Decal wraps are from some brand new Decal files I just created.
