How long do you think the speed control will last if I wire two Mabuchi silver can motors in parallel to a 13 turn speed control? The theoretical windings would be 13.5 turns but I always have read that it needs to be a "heavy duty" speed control to run two motors. Do you think that it's not worth the time? I have the parts already and I would like to use that rather than wasting the time buying a Super Duty or finding another Super Rooster.

What's the current draw @ 0RPM on one of those motors? Take that, times it by two. Now, compare to peak max current draw from ESC. If it's lower, you should be good.

You should be fine.

I ran 2 big Kyosho 600 motors on a Rooster ESC (15T motor limit) and had no problem.

Those Mabuchi motors aren't exactly power hungry anyway. :)

I'd just watch the temperature to be safe and you should be alright.
