Local track runs one field of electric 2wd. The track is built for larger nitros. Taking that into mind I am thinking a buggy would be the best choice because its lighter and could make a larger jump. However a truck has more suspension travel. Anyway I am just guessing here and need some opinions on what to get. I am debating on B3, B4, T3, T4, or possibly the Slash. Since they only have about 7 electric guys running a mixed field of trucks and buggies I can never see a Slash only class happening so it would be running against all other electrics. I am on a small budget and if I make the move I am taking my nephew with me so we are talking 2 of everything. Also I have owned a few T3's so I am somewhat used to them. Thanks for looking and opinions welcome.

the slash would be a waste of time and money if your racing. the T4 or B4 would be your best bet. they are probably the better bashers as well. my old T3 used to bash circles around anything 1/10 scale. id say if your going to be skying the thing out on a regular basis (ie, if the track has a lot of big jumps) get the truck. if its smaller jumps and the track is big, open and flat, go with the buggy. that's just my opinion, others my beg to differ

If you've owned T3's in the past, get B3's/T3's and have fun. You'll know what's going on, have a good truck that's race proven and itt'l be a reliable platform. :P
First since this is a nitro track I would suggest a truck. Unless the track is very smooth. Those nitro's seem to tear tracks up pretty well. Secondly if all your going to be doing is racing I would suggest a T4. If your going to be doing some bashing and some racing go with the T3. The t3 will be more durable than the T4.

Seems like the focus is more on Racing here. Then I'ed say go with the T4.

Personally, I would go with the T4. It's an amazing truck and is similar enough to the T3 for you to still know your way around it. A nitro track is going to be too beat up for a buggy. As it so happens, I do have a T4 Factory Team w/ Novak Brushless system for sale (not that I'm biased in my suggestion, it really is the right car for your situation :p). I have it in the For Sale/Trade section, or you could shoot me a PM. It's pretty much new and you'd be getting a great deal on it. Let me know, and if you're not interested, have fun with whatever you end up with! :driving:

OK I got more info today, They run 3 classes of racing. Pro buggy, sportsman buggy, and 2wd. From what I saw today was a few stadium trucks even one nitro truck and a bandit. I would say the track is some what smooth but dusty packed clay. Jumps are somewhat large and often.
