Hello,
I am semi-new to this R/C business (have some knowledge, but short on cash). I want to begin with getting the correct transmitter.

I have been using the InterLink Elite Simulator. I read that the Futuba 10C is a good controller, but do not want to buy it and find out it does not do what I want it to do (meaning to fly all models I purchase in the future).

I want to buy ONE controller to last.

Any Suggestions?

Is there a glossary for all of the abbrevations ie; EPP

PS What is the difference between a air controller and a heli controller? Won't one controller operate both?:teacher:

mpython, let me help you out.

First off, what type of aircraft do you plan on flying? The 10C is perfect for 99% of all aircraft on the market today. I especially like the new version. I would recommend this transmitter definitely.

The difference between heli and airplane transmitters are very small, heli transmitters don't have the ratcheting that airplane ones have, along with the menus focusing more on helicopter traits. Both operate eachother perfectly, but I would pick the version that you will be flying more of. For example, currently I have a DX7 that I have set up on an airplane and helicopter with no problems.

I am not sure of any list as of yet for acronyms, but feel free to post a couple if you need help.

That would definitely be sweet to have an all inclusive list.

Tower has a glossary with some acronyms in it.

I'm sure there are others.
