Hi, I was BIG into R/C when I was 16/17, And was lucky dispite been quite young, I had quite a decent amount of disposable income. Anyway, I spent a fair amount on R/C's.

However, I turned 17, Passed my "real" car driving test and sold up to invest my money into custom car modifying, And in particular, Car audio.

I'm nearly 22 now, And have moved on from this, Sold my main show car, And bought a regular standard car. This had a competition car audio system in too, But I've put that back to standard, And had a large sum sitting in my paypal account!

Anyway, I heard that a new R/C track had opened nearby, And now I could get there myself, and a modelshop had opened locally, Rather than relying on my dad to take me, I could just get up and go down there.

I googled the place, Found it on my satnav and went down to a practise event "just to browse". What a mistake.

I've just got in, Ordered a Hyper 7 Buggy, A Spektrum 2.4 GHZ Radio, 2 Metal Gear Servos, Fuel, A Fuel Bottle, Glow starter, RX Pack and charger, Tool set and a nide box too keep it together ;)

Its only the RTR with a pull start, I'm intending on turning this hyper 7 into the pro model And Running RB Power + Starter Box ;)

I've also got 43 mins left till I win a Savage 4.6 on ebay, And just placed a bid on a Revo! OMG im addicted again ;)

Not really had much practise with nitro, I was an electric boy, So expect a few, "why doesnt this start" threads soon ;)

I feel 15 again :D

Nitro is awesome, and the conveniance of a pull start pwns. :D You'll find it quite addicting and will come to love the sweet sound they make.

Have you seen the Slayer yet? :P

Also, be easy on the TRX 3.3/2.5 in that Revo for the first quart or two. They have a habit of having defective rods, if it makes it past the first two quarts it's good to go.

Welcome back! I too was really into rc's in my teen years. Spent tons of money and made some cool cars. Then when I moved out they went into storage. Started getting into pre-runner trucks and started building my own. Dumped most of my money into an F150 Supercrew. After installing the new suspension and shocks I took it out to the Mojave desert for a test trial. Well things happened and I ended up rolling the truck over. I unfortunatly didnt have a roll bar in it yet and it was totaled. Anyway I too started playing with my cars recently, took them all out of storage and been fixing them up and stuff. Its good to be back and I'm sure you will feel the same way when you get your cars going. Have fun!

I just got a Savage 4.6 last week, been messing around with it all week! Impuls buying, its a deadly thing! I know how it is like.. I go to the shop for a set of wheels and leave with and New shell, 3 cans of paint, 2 sets of wheels and a new kit.. The trouble after that is explaining to my parents how 400 dollers just went down the the drain and what it is I'm holding. Welcome back to the addiction!!

£ is this sign Pounds or euros? If Im not mistaken Euro's are 2 X the value of CND and pounds are like.. 1.5 times?

That's GBP, not Euros, which uses a character in the EXACT shape of an E-clip.
