We were all really hit in a good way with the releases this year so far from Traxxas. So what is your wishlist for future vehicles from them?

Mine are:

New electric onroad car. Maybe like the big scale Kyosho onroad vehicles
Electric Slayer
New speed controller for brushless and lipo for the E-Revo, E-Maxx.
Buggy version of the Revo

I dont see any difference between the Slayer and the Slash.. just one is electric and the other is nitro.. but I would l like to see a ..
-New Electric 4-tec
-Maybe a Nitro buggy
-It would be interesting to see a new Gas powered 1/5 scale from them, I bet that would sell well..

slash is 2wd and slayer is 4wd, slash has stand up shocks and slayer has laydown shocks. I would like to see a competitive 1/8 nitro buggy from them.

Some more forays into the scale world would be nice, as the following:

Some competition for Tamiya's 1:14 semis', in RTR form

Nitro versions of those trucks in 1:10 scale

Nitro live-axle monster truck(Let's see ya'll rehash the maxx for this one!)

Electric crawler based on that nitro MT

Some electric and nitro Rally, Paris Dakar vehicles. CEN is the only one making rally cars these days, and they're nitro. :\ Rally modded NTC3's are nice, bot not factory.

They've got boats, cars...how bout a .40 trainer aircraft, guys? 4ch .40 w/ ezstart and remote needle valves, let's see it!

Maybe some electric FWD vehicles for the guys that want the utmost in scale?

haha

I've been more than happy with my Revo for the past few years, but I'd like to see:

1. Mini Revo! (1/18th scale. electric and nitro versions! I'd like to see this one more than anything)

2. an entirely new 1/10 touring car (not a redesigned/updated 4-Tec)

3. 1/8th scale buggy (also, electric and nitro versions!)

4. a small scale heli for living room/garage/light outdoor use

5. Monster Revo (1/5th scale Revo :D)

I've been in the hobby for close to 13 years. I've raced everything from 1/18th scale electric to 1/8th (on/off-road) scale nitro and EVERYTHING in between. I've lost count of how many, but I've owned at least one car from every major manufacturer. So no, you were a little off :p. I scaled down my rc assets several years ago as I've been pretty short on free time (minus the time I spend on here at work :D). I picked up the Revo mainly to bash, but also to race on occassion. I must say, I'm very satisfied with how it handles both. As for Traxxas's customer service, well I don't have anything to say about that as I've never had to call them. Sorry you had a bad experience(s), but there are those of us out there that are plenty happy with Traxxas products.

I just wish TRAXXAS will offer all their product in KIT or ARTR (no electronics).

Thats all.

I'll second that one.

I'm also a stereotype breaker, I've been in RC's for about 12 years, pan cars, touring, 1/8th buggies, as well as some vintage odd-balls and I absolutely love my Revo. :p

I end up spending more money upgrading electronics and such on the Traxxas stuff than I spend on the vehicle originally though, so I would LOVE to see kit versions, for sure.

I was watching some F1 racing yesterday and you know, they can take the Revo and use smaller suspension arms and narrow the chassis and they can have a large scale F1 car. The inboard shock setup is already there.

I also think an all-new touring car would be cool. How about a tough shaft-drive car and sell a rally variation of it?

An F1 car would also be sweet.

And kits/ARR options would be nice as well, for those of us who are Traxxas fans but not noobs (yes, we do exist). I admit a Stampede was and is my first and only hobby-grade land vehicle, though. But that doesn't there aren't other brands on my short list!

Actually, he's not an oddball. Although Traxxas gets bashed to death on internet forums, they make some really good vehicles. Personally, I think the Stampede and Rustler are basically entry/toy level trucks, the Revo is an amazing truck.

Traxxas has opened up RC for many people, and (dare I say it?) dared to go where other companies have not.

So flame away anti-Traxxas bashers, but a huge segment of the R/C market says you are wrong.

:P They should create a jack of all trades shaft drive 1/10 car, one that can be a killer NTC3-quality onroad, yet at the same time rally better than the CEN FF/NX and HPI NRS4 Rally cars they made, and a lwb version with fatties that's the F1 car. It would be so awesome.

My wish for Traxxas... Install BIG BLOCK motors in their vehicals! The 3.3 is nice, but many of us want a true .21 or larger motors. I do know that they have BB conversions, but I wish that Traxxas would develope with another company their own BB.
