I've got a rustler vxl which is mostly stock save for RPM parts and 'pede talon wheels. The damn thing just thermals so easily when I'm bashing around, but fine on tarmac. I've never had this trouble with my Mamba Max, even when I was bashing it with a Medusa V2 on 35/76 gearing wearing the talons.
Is there a cheap ESC that will be as good as the MM as far as themalling goes? I really don't want to spend money on a brand new MM just for a basher.I was considering one of those chinese 120A ESCs on ebay. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
