This thing looks to double the lifespan of the average brush/comm set. GReat for guys that haven't made it to brushless yet...

i agree, the lifespan of comms and brushes looks to be doubled, what a great idea, just wish they wouild have thought of it back in the late 80's when i raced electric buggy.

Cool. These would be a superb idea for the E-revo (like in the picture), or the newer "waterproof" E-maxx (keep a lot of the crud out of the motors when you go in any muddy puddles).

Actually, Raceprep had a plastic cap and foam filter that mounted to the endbell of any of their motors. That's why there were tiny screw holes next to the endbell bushing/bearing on their motors.:cool:
