Batteries

OK, I got my slash, installed the Velineon system, and now I need some better batteries. I do not want to go Lipo just yet. I see everyone talking about 8.4v 7 cell batteries, what about a 9.6v 8 cell 4500 mah batt? I have found a couple but do not know if they will work or how well they will work?
Oh, and they are hump packs so I should be able to fith them in the battery tray.

I have an 8 cell GP3700 pack in my Splash... I mean Slash.

Either way, the 4500s will probably be okay. Just make sure your charger will do an 8 cell pack.

I would check out the dimensions you are working with before you buy,but max amps has 4700 cells and they make both styles of pack.
