I wonder if this might be a prelude to a 4wd ST or 1/10 truggy from HPI, Would like to see a return of the RS4 MT, with shaft drive

Mein Deutch ist sehr ekelhaft, but I'm still reading German in this post.
BTW if anyone here can read German did I use proper grammar and did I make sense?

Hmm yes its still in German. I don't know maybe he did not save the changes.
Well you can check it out on the HPI Europe site until he changes it to english.
From what I read its like a buggy version of the E10. Pretty much allot of plastic, but the price would be great.

Anyone know what the diffs of the 10b and 18b look like? I wonder if they can handle a mild brushless setup out of the box or not.

I'm more in the 18B than the 10. If I wanted a plasticy 4WD buggy it's Tamiya all day for me. Make it vintage too. Thundershot!

Brand new and ready for off-road action is the totally fresh Brama 10B... the first electric 4WD buggy from HPI! It's made to be tough, affordable, easy to work on, and 4WD shaft driven for high grip. The Brama 10B comes completely ready-to-run and it uses clean and quiet electric power so driving is as easy as it gets, just charge and go!
Based on the tough E10 chassis, the Brama 10B has full-time 4WD for maximum traction on all off-road surfaces. We've added long suspension arms and long-stroke oil-filled shock absorbers to allow the Brama 10B to soak up rough terrain with ease. For durability and extra protection, a sealed shaft drivetrain keeps rocks and debris from slowing you down. You can keep the hammer down, the spiked Digger tires just keep going and going, biting and clawing through dirt, grass or hard-packed surfaces!
The Brama 10B comes pre-built with a reliable HPI transmitter, steering servo, and a reversible electronic speed control so it accelerates and steers with precise movements. The included rechargeable 7.2V battery pack delivers power to the Saturn 35T motor for realistic off-road action. Just pop some AA's in the transmitter, charge up the 7.2V battery pack with the included charger and you're ready to drive. It's topped off with a racing buggy body for good looks, and a large rear wing for stability when the going gets tough!
The Brama 10B is the quick, easy and friendly way to get into off-road action, priced low so anyone can grab the transmitter and experience the thrill of RC driving.

Full-time shaft drive 4WD system for maximum grip

I like the looks of these machines and they probably have the usual HPI durability built right in,....but in the classes I don't know if I am just shaky but I wonder if its too little too late.
1/18th minis have been booming for years and HPI seemed happy to stay with the micro RS4 line and nothing else. I the 1/10th EP 4WD market the last we saw was the RS4 MT, even the HB side of things with the Lightning 10 didn't seem to be a hot seller (I know its Nitro, same principle).
I guess I am wondering what made HPI decide to go this route now?

It looks good enough to eat LOL. But seriously, it is on HPI America's site. They have a video up. They say you can run Lipo packs and that the Brama is "creative fun since 86". Actually they got a good platform here with the E10 and Brama. I bet that in the future they may put a CORR style body on it.

A CORR version would be sweet, and they would sell a crap load of them.
