Man, that's COOL! Gotta have one...

I like how the front fenders are angled correctly for the front suspension.

I'd have to strongly disagree. It seems to capture a more scale appearance than Traxxas' body. I can't wait to pick one of these up. It looks awesome! Great job Pro-Line.

Resp,
I agreed with you when I first looked at the pics. Then thinking about it, if you painted the lights more realistically instead of that generic 'racer' light sticker, you'd more easily pull off a scale look. Not sure about the roofline, looks a little low. I like the moulded-in rear shock detail.

That is a good looking body! Before CORR regulated roll cages etc. a few years ago, some trucks looked like that.

Looks good. I wonder if anyone will make a "normal" truck body for the Slash that is big enough to fit over the wheels. For example, I really like the new Pro-Line 1980 chevy truck body that people are using on Stampedes. I think a larger version of that body would look great on a Slash, especially if it covered the wheels and looked scale.

Nope dont care for this body at all but is a bit better than the slash body. It doesnt look like any CORR trucks Ive been seeing. The AE SC8 body still seems to give the best "scale" look so far.

Aside from the shock molded into the body, I say it looks pretty good.

Man people need to get the dirt out of their eyes! Try using some nitro folks it may work wonders and show you that this body looks horrible.

I think part of the problem is the ride height - CORR trucks typically run with quite a bit of "droop". The bummer is that it appears that some height may have been designed in to the body itself, so it may be tough to "slam" the body for a more scale appearance. I've just mounted the Hardcore body on my Slash, and without changing my suspension settings, it looks like it's sitting quite a bit higher. My truck was pretty well dialed with the stock body, I'm sure this will be a bit more top heavy.
I was sitting on my office floor last night adding the stickers and commented to my wife that I didn't like the body. She looked at it and said "I think it's far better looking than the one that came with it". The difference is that she's not comparing it to a 1:1 CORR truck. But I spent $30 on it, painted it, stickered it up, so it's going to get raced.

X2

I really hope proline listen to request's like these because not everyone wants a streamed lined racing body... Most slash owners are back yard bashers not racers..

I think proline could have done a better job than this IMO

I have been racing with the Hardcore body and there are no ill effects. Unless you got it stuck in your head (the mind is a powerful thing), I really doubt you'll notice any change in handling.

You can think what you want to but that body looks better than the slash body. With a more scale paint job that body would look awsome, much more realistic than the stock body. Where do you see "wanna-b truggy" in that? It looks like a CORR/Baja truck.

And doesnt nitro in the eyes cause blindness anyway?

For the scalers out there, I believe some of the wider Maxx/Savage bodies (Proline's F-100, F-250, H2 and 80's Blazer for example) will look good. the wheels will stick out about an inch, so it'll look more like a lifted truck than a CORR truck. But I think that's the point.
