This past weekend we attended the Canadian Nationals in Edmonton, Alberta. Ty was entered in both 1/8 pro buggy and 1/8 pro stadium truck.
Ty dominated qualifying, tq'ing 3 of 3 truggy rounds and 2 of 3 buggy rounds, breaking a shock end in the 3rd buggy qualifier, narrowly missing a clean sweep.
Ty's performance with the D8 and prototype truggy turned heads all weekend, everyone was impressed with how much faster and how much better his cars handled the extremely rough and loose conditions.
Then on Sunday Ty went on to win both truggy and buggy national titles, after the race we were bombarded with questions about the car, when it will be released, price, availability, etc.
