There are a couple that I know of, the Firefighter .18 put out by Tom Moorehouse which is only available in plan form right now as he is looking for someone to do the laaser cutting. www.firefighterboats.com
Anthony Marquart is working on a new one and also looking for someone to cut his kit.
A friend of mine, Wade Swatzell has the Hammerhead .12 which can take an .18. I had my fingers in a little of the development for that one. We did laser cut very few for R&D work but that is now only available in plan form right now.
All of these guys hang out on www.intlwaters.com .

I'm still looking for a kit or built boat so don't think that I've forgotten about you.
One thought is to find a 12-24 cell electric 'rigger and convert it over to nitro power. You might have to fabricate some motor mounts and a separate radio box but that's no big deal to do.
If you haven't gotten the engine yet, you might want to consider going smaller. The .12 engines out now are very fast if you get the right one. I'm looking at the Nova Rossi .12 which is a screamer and reasonably priced compared to some high-performance .12's from the car and truck people.

Try BBYracing.com

Good boats, not exactly cheap, but great boats. I run three of them.

Currently have a .12 sized boat with a OS Max CZ that ive been running for 10 years.

Blindingly fast.

Here's one for sale right now: http://www.intlwaters.com/index.php?showtopic=29625
Yeah, it's pricy but one of the best that you'll find. Don Ferrette also knows how to set up a boat and a good guy that you can trust.
