Clarence, I have a question on compression testing. On an OS 61 SF I was turning it over CCW and the compression was low enough that (with normal oil in cylinder) I could easily turn it through using the prop shaft only. However, when I turn it CW using the prop shaft only it seems to have LOTS of compression. Is this abnormal or just normal ring wear symptoms?
Also, what do you recommend for replacement ring wear-in procedure? Any different from new engine break-in?
