Looks good! You should start a business doing that for other people...

Looks good. Which powdercoating kit are you using?

One word of caution; the properties of aluminum are permanently changed when its heated beyond ~300 degrees. Its likely you will reduce the strength of the part by changing the heat treat if you powdercoat it.

Which powder-coating kit did you buy. I was thinking about getting the Craftsman one (woohoo, employee discount) but i'd also have to buy a small oven to cook the parts in once i've powdercoated anything. It's mainly just an idea on the back of my head since I "got a guy" so to speak. LOL

i am using a caswell pro kit,
and yes i plan on opening up a shop doing media blasting and coating primary for rc parts :)

and yes i know about changing its strength, i plan on going a bit of testing to see bow big the change is though, the whole heating process takes at most 20 min, need to make sure you get a good even coat. because is that change in strength is a big one you don't want to heat it twice.

and as soon as me and my dad clean out the garage i'll also be offering black chrome plating :)

Looks nice...just make sure you don't coat areas that will change the tolerances of the parts. Like if you coat bulkheads that will make them taller and may not fit anymore.
