been thinking about ths project for a while and decided i'll see if anyone has donje thins before, i wanna get a 3's and vxl brushless kit in a F350 to make a sort of "realistic but still fast truck!" i think it would be good in the dunes!

i bet it would handle like crap at anything more than 10mph still fun to try :)

They specifically say that the truck is NOT designed for more power than what it comes with.
Stock up on transmission parts. You will need lots. Probably several times per run.

IT WORKED! i got the vxl outta my pede and put it in with a 2's! it handles bad but there is nothing cooler then seeing the realest looking truck going so fast! only cracked one rim when it nearly wheelied and i swerved into a car tire! it is soooo cooool!

Take note of what rccardude said. Sure it will work, but not for very long at all.

I agree, your going to kill a "scale" truck. Speed it was not designed for.

wow....
don't think I would even consider doing that to a hi-lift. Cool that it worked for ya,...but I think you will be personally responsible for Tamiya employees working overtime in the molding dept. for drivetrain parts.

well it has held up fine for 6 on road runs and 4 offroad and one in the dunes.
