So I have two sets of worn out 2.2 truck tires, some masher 2k's and other no name tires and neither are on rims but are worn out. I don't want to just throw them out, there has to be a use for them. What do you guys do? Let your kids play ring toss, make some cool Christmas tree ornaments? What are some ideas to do with these things?

Mine get lost and turn up later when I clean the mess.
Then I lose them again... you get the idea. :D

ha, I run tires forever when bashing. Mine last untill they are worn almost all the way through before I get new ones! I am sure you could find some interesting use for them.

you could cut them, roll them out, screw em down on a board , and use them to hold stuff from sliding........

I saw that thread however I tried turning the Mashers inside out and it didn't really work, lol. The only thing I have really found a use for them is picture posing, lol.

Run them til they shred or lose so much grip they're useless and then pitch them. I usually have a new set of wheels/tires glued and ready to go. If the rims are still ok re-use them; if not throw them out too.
Life is too short and clutter sucks your life energy away. Crappy old tires lying around are anti-zen. Don't do it. ;)

Maybe I could hang them on the front and sides of my truck, like the tug boats do, that way I won't break the truck when I run into something, lol.

you can take the tires off the rims and replace them so you dont have to buy new rims. Just boil them, it works great!

oh yeah, i used a set of totally worn out (even a drag slick thought these tires were lacking in tread!) proline Bow-Tie T as a door stop one time. kept the door from hitting the wall

man! those chevrons got plenty of life in em, put em back on, i wish some of mine looked that good
i read something about cutting out the centers and using them as rubber bands for glueing up new tires

I only see tires which have a good bit tread still left in them...

Those old Mashers are bald in the center and don't work very well in the dirt, they just spin. The sides still have lots of tread on them. My other pair are so old they are cracking and falling apart and are not useable anymore.

when they stop working as well as they were intended to i replace them. then ether throw them away or give them to somebody. iv probably thrown away used tires that were better than some of the new tires you've bought. all in the quest to be top dog of the neighborhood.

Since I race and the dirt varys in moisture I carry around four different stage of wear tires (purposefully wore down ) full pin for when the track is dry. Half pin for when the track is slightly moist. Ghost pin for when the track is wet but still not sticking to the tires and slics for when the clay on the track is like playdough (really wet) so until a tire rips it always has use

i had a golden arrow by radio shack, i ran mine til the tries split off the rims.
i read soemwhere along time ago, take a bike tube cut it up and you can rethread the tires.i think that would work for on road though
hey use them as corner markers in a practice track or something.
or give them to soemone who mocks up chassis to display painted bodies?

if nothing else try this:
you will need the following:
1. a smooth concrete surface (s.a. a garage floor)
2. some old oil from the last oil change in your full sized car
3. a way to hold the rc car in place (a foot will work or a wall or something...)
4. one trigger happy finger... :)
generously "spill" the oil on the floor and hit the throttle like a mad man!
have your camera ready for some awesome pics....!!!

I use my old tires to drift until they rip.
