New from the A Team (http://www.rc10.com):
B4/T4 Spur Gears for Brushless!
New smaller design for gear ratios used with 17.5, 13.5 and 10.5 brushless stock motors.
Allows the use of smaller sized pinion gears.
Moves motor forward for better balance and more predictable handling.
72T and 75T available.
For the RC10B4 and RC10T4
9649 - 72 Tooth 48 Pitch Spur Gear, B4/T4 - $4.00 - January 2009
9650 - 75 Tooth 48 Pitch Spur Gear, B4/T4 - $4.00 - January 2009

still not small enough IMO but good enough to get goin!
what sucks is that i just spent $25 on the parts for the t3 slipper mod using a 69t spur gear lol. Smaller spur, still should be better though.

Wow I was just asking about this the other day!
I am assuming they could'nt go smaller then this without making new pads and hubs?
Should'nt it say that it allows the use of "Bigger" pinions?

well when you lower the spur gear teeth its the ssame as going with a bigger inion so you could run a 14 tooth pinon with the 76 spur with a 10 turn instead of a 18 tooth with a 80 spur thats purely example

It will allow larger pinion gears to physically fit, but requires a smaller pinion to maintain the same ratio.
Chewie's Example:
76spur/14pinion = 5.43
80spur would require a 15t pinion (technically 14.7t but close enough)
The clearance would be much better, and hopefully people won't be at the far upper end of the pinion range.

Team Associated was able to provide us a copy of these new final drive ratios using these new Brushless Spur Gears for T4/B4/B44.
