Sweeet! Nicely done Racer's Edge. Oh...and "the squid?" That had to be Stevo coming up with that name.

Nah, they snagged it from Common Sense RC's "Octopus."
This charger looks pretty promising. I wonder if it comes with the balance harness. Losi/E-Flite's chargers never did...

Common Sense RC also sells a neat little cap for the male Deans plug, so you don't get a short when charging with the Squid (or Octopus). Remember, when you use the Octo-Squid, ALL the connectors have power. So if you're plugged into one connector and the exposed contacts of the Deans plug touch a turnbuckle wrench or some other metal object, you can expect sparks!

That's a good point, and an excellent idea. I'd probably just not use the "squid," but for those who do want to use it, keeping it from shorting out would definitely be important.

Actually the "Power Squid" has been around for a long time. Wouldn't be surprised if the idea came from there. www.PowerSquid.com.
