Looking at buying a new motor for my vintage TA01 chassis, Celica GT-Four, but unsure what to go for?
The car is used for up and down the street once every few months?
It has a RS540 Sports Tuned motor, when they were new out!
What are the new Tamiya sports motors like?
TIA

Any thoughts on the Tamiya Super Stock?
Im guessing my Sports Tuned is a little past it, seems very slow!?
21T the best pinon Gear for it?

stock sized tires? Yes, you should be fine. I personally liek the ST motor.you can grab it 10 yrs. later, and it still runs great. something to be said for the ole Johnson motors;)

Rock a new ST motor in it....for what you are using it for, and how often, it will be the last motor you put in it.

How about a nice 19T ? I had a 19t in my ta02 and it was a good mix between speed and run time.
