Hey everyone,

Finally have got some stuff to show you guys. The video is posted on our site. Go to gpkartways.com It is on the main page under announcments listed as rc video. It will link you to youtube.

GPK will be running r/c open practices on this Saturday December 13th and the 20th from 10am to 12pm. Cost will be $10 for the open practice. Please make sure all who attend sign our checklist where we will take your email and what r/c cars you own to try and organize some events based on scales, classes, etc. You will be part of an r/c mass mailing, for r/c updates only!

If you would like to be part of this mass email group for upcoming events and such you can email me directly at david@gpkartways.com to add you to the database.

If anyone has a group of racers and would like to host an event at GPK please contact me at the email above also to book something in.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this and next weekend!

I took a look at the video on the site. What scale were those cars? It looks like a go-cart track with R/C's on it.

They are running on a go kart track. We are running r/c practice and some future events at GPK.

They ran many scales that day. Drivers brought out 1/5, 1/8, and 1/10. Our track is 25+ ft. wide, obviously to accomodate go karts, so r/c has a ton of space and room to enjoy. Drivers platform is over 20+ in the air as well with great visibility of the whole track.

I like this idea. Indoor where it's warmer than outdoors, and it's cleaner than dirt running.

Do you have the ability to add jumps for certain classes? Something like a plywood jump covered in astroturf or something.

We orginally spoke with a few off road guys about that. They seem to not have any interest in running on a track with wood jumps. We would not be looking to build any ramps. Originally we did, but lack of off road participation squashed that quickly.

We get quite a few off roaders come and run their cars on the track as is and love it. Some guys even swap up their wheels and such to run closer to an on road or gt style set up.
