Has anyone used this motor is an original LST? I am having troubles with my .26 and was thinking about upgrading the motor. Thanks for any replies.

The Mach 427 and Mach 26 are esentially the same engine. The only difference is the cooling head and I think the 427 has better porting. The power output is just about identical though. I have ran both and I have not seen an advantage one way or another. If you wnt to "upgrade" get a .28. Axial, LRP are both VERY strong engines and will outperform the 427 easily for about the same $$.

427 is a 7 port, .26 is a 3 port. The teal headed mach 427 has higher compression thanks to a smaller head button.I would go with a teal mach for the price. LRP is great but $70 more than a teal headed 427 on Ebay.
