Here's the HW '32 Delivery Sedan from the 4 car set I made for the Winner of the Texas Trifecta I, MichEddie.
This casting is back out on the shelf in yet another repaint in a short span of about 2 months.
I've always liked this casting and have always been a big fan of "Elliot Ness and The Untouchables".
The body required a little cleaning up and the plastic fenders had a couple of rough spots where they were attached to the sprue during the injection molding.
First everything is primed and shot ShimrinWhite.
Roof and panel window was then taped off for decals.
The fender assembly got a shot of Adhesion Promoter right off the bat.
Then came HOK Zenith Gold topped with Candy Pagan Gold over everything.
Lower body was taped and the body and fenders were shot Candy Organic Green with Spring Green Pearl-Ex Powder.
Decals and details were applied and the whole thing shot with Urethane clear with a couple of drops of Pagan Gold Intensifier and Aztec Gold Pearl-Ex Powder.
Lots of Shine, lots of Depth.
All House Of Kolor products, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bumpers were filed and sanded and rubbed with #3 Steel Wool then #0000 Steel Wool and then buffed with polishing rouge.
Just like my Fat Fender 40's these bumpers realy come around to a nice bright lustre when buffed.
When needed they can be brought right back to a high lustre with any metal polish.
Rhinestone taillights.
Rivet reassembly
Decals fit perfect down to the black trim around them.
