Ah excellent, a new shock cap option for Traxxas shocks at last! Hopefully these will fit plastic Ultra Shocks a little more easily than the Big Bore caps. If they do and they're still snug, and reasonably priced, I'll be happily recommending them to a lot of people as the #1 must-have upgrade for any Slash, Bandit, Rustler, or Pede.

Hi TheJANG,

They are designed around the Ultra shocks, so they are a lot better to put on than the Traxxas Big Bore caps (the Big Bore caps were designed for shocks prior to the Ultra shocks). Our caps is designed to work especially well with our aluminum shock bodies as it has a grooved built in to accommodate an o-ring on the top of the shock body to provide a better seal.

They will be available in blue, red and silver at a price of $12.99 MSRP for a set of 4 :)

Sounds good! Most folks get a Traxxas electric and go & pop their shock caps, so then they immediately start looking for all-new shocks, not realizing Ultra Shocks are more than fine for just about any need (I've won plenty of races with them) -- all they need are caps. I'll be picking up a couple sets as soon as they're out!

I used STRC castor blocks and bulkhead on my rustler to beef up the front end, those parts are bullet proof.
