Well lately my T-Maxx 3.3 hasnt been firing. Battery for the EZ Start is fully charged and cranking the motor over no problem. However there is no glow! I have changed glow plugs multiple times and nothing even from brand new ones. There must just be no power going to the Blue wire to ignite the glow plug.... Anyone else ever have this problem, any idea on what my problem is and a fix? Thanks! Also, i'd like to solve the problem, not just take off the blue wire and buy a glow ignitor :)

Check the plug on the shock tower. I've had the pins pop out of the plug before.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here...
The last time you used it, did the glow plug just "stop working" after a flooded engine was making you cranky and wouldn't turn over, so you held the button down anyway?
Do you have another EZ Start box you can try? I'm just guessing burnt up internal circuit.

I had this problem and I needed a new EZ Start Wand. They're cheap, especially on eBay, so get another one.
But before you do, check to see if the 4 connector pins are straight and not pushed in.

I would venture to say that the pin suggestion is the first place I would be checking. After that, I would be checking to make sure you're getting a connection on the glowplug as well as the ground to the motor. Make sure the ground eyelet to the motor mount is still tight and a good wire connection as well. Pull the glowplug and insert it onto the blue wire. While cranking, hold the side of the glowplug threads to a bare metal section of the motor. If the glow plug doesn't glow while "grounding" it like this but works fine with a glow ignitor, you have a problem with the pins or the resistor in the starter wand. If you have a volt meter, check the output of the start wand terminals. The two that go to the starter motor should see 7.2 volts and the two that go to the ground and glow connections should see 1.5~2 volts. If you're not getting output there, it's probably a broken sandbar resistor. If you really want to fix that wand, you could find the exact replacement sandbar resistor at Radio Shack or other electrical supply houses and then solder it in where the old one is. If they're bad, they usually crack and turn dark brown or black. Good luck with fixing it.

all the pins are in and fine. I had a problem with one pushing in right when I got the t-maxx so that was the first thing I checked. Its cranking the motor just fine, just NOTHING to the glow plug. I guess i'll try a new EZ starter wand. Thanks!
