I have researched and all that.

I just want a fully fresh thread, with updated opinions.

What is overall better?

Side by Side Pics.
Top speed of both trucks.
Durability.
Which one is bigger.

Id love responses from actual owners, and if anyone has input please be kind and not bash on the opposing truck.

(lets keep this simple and clean) :)

I like the layout and size of the savage better myself, but it's definitely a tough call as to which is better.

I have the older version of both trucks(MGT .28 SE and Savage LE) and it's a tough call. Both are great trucks and can take tons of abuse. The tranny in the MGT isn't as bulletproof as the Savage, mainly because the input shaft has a pinion designed into it because the spur gear sits on the side of the tranny. Once you really get some use out of it they tend to wear out. Also I am not a big fan of the Thunder Tiger engines, they make good torque and will last awhile but the hpi engines make more power overall. I replaced the TT .28 in my MGT with an HPI K4.6 and drastically improved the power of the truck. The Savage is a sturdier truck, but the MGT has CVDs throughout and is a little easier to work on. If I were to buy one of the newer versions I would definitely go for the Savage. I think you would be happy with either truck.

Yo that's really helpful, but they really tricked out the newer models. Still I'd like to hear from someone who has one of them.

I am still unsure which one to get, once I get my mind set I will run to the hobby shop lol
