I've noticed recently on my E-Maxx 3905 that after a bashing session the rear wheels are always toed out; my initial setting is a couple of degrees inside. Is this is a sign of the toe links wearing out? Pushing on the upright by hand does not cause the turnbuckle to slip threads and go further into the rod end. Is it possible, that the threads are too loose and as a result of the vibrations and the torque from the wheels they just work themselves out? The wheels are more or less equally toe'd out too, so both sides seem to be affected equally.

Are you checking at the wheels or the tires? Maybe the tires/foams shifting around on the rims make it look like a toe-out condition....

Checking the wheels. I'm able to wrench the turnbuckles to make then toe in again, and I've been doing it continuously, and haven't run out of thread either. If the uprights were acting up, I'd have run out of thread and a rod end popped out from one end or the other.

sounds like maybe a hingepin problem, check your rear lower hingepins and mounts for stretching and warping.

I removed the entire rear bulkhead assembly and examined it. The only thing out of place was that I had used accidentally swapped front and rear hinge pins on the left side but only affects the front because the longer front pin works just fine in the rear. I've used thread sealant tape one side of each turnbuckle. I think that should remedy the issue.

The weird thing is that they should toe themselves in. Things tend to pull apart, not push together.

Why not go with the RPM TrueTrack setup?

Well I'm looking at them from the front when I say they toe out, not the rear. I would think that's consistent with the force pushing on the upright. I did consider the truetrack conversion, but at $40 for a set, the price doesn't justify the benefit. Also, then I'd be compelled to do the same to my E-Revo, and it has red dyed RPM arms, and I don't think the truetrack kit comes in white :(
