I'm a pretty rough basher with my Monster GT 4.6SE. I'm looking for ways to really make it bulletproof. Right now I have FT alloy shock caps, FT titanium turnbuckle set, and FT pipe and header. I plan on getting RPM arms, some 40 series rims and tires, thicker shock oil, stiffer springs, some kind of roll cage, and a stronger steering servo. What else could I do to make this truck even tougher? Any suggestions are appriciated.

You managed to break an MGT?

I would avoid a roll cage like the plague. That's adding weight that will help break things that you can actually break. A roll cage protects nothing more than your body will, but will make it much easier to break a-arms, turnbuckles/ends, knuckles, and on top of that puts more wear/tear on the drivetrain because it takes more effort to accelerate (higher friction on rotating parts that slide inside themselves like dogbones/output cups, etc.).

Like I said. I'm tough with this truck. I really push its limits. The first week I had it I blew apart a front shock cap then shortly after that while doing backflips I snapped a rear turnbuckle like a toothpick but other than that shes held up pretty good. I just thought it might be a good idea to beef things up before they break. Then I'll have no down time.

I don't personally care for roll cages for the reasons Eric listed above. The lightweight cages don't do anything other than support the body and make the thing harder to work on. The ones that actually strengthen the structure of the truck add a considerable amount of weight, kill the handling, make the thing a lot harder to work on, and I suppose make the body last longer...
