I have this Truck that started life as a buggy and I later converted it to the truck you see here. It is chain driven 4 wheel drive buggy. I bought it years and years ago, Put all the gear away due to other financial obligations and now would like to get it running and fix it up a bit but it needs a rear control arm due to a broken shock mount. I am going to pull it off and hit up my local hobby shop and see if I can find one that is close or will work. I used to have all the info on this thing but that was 10+ years ago and would like to see if anyone can identify it. I will know it the second someone says it but for some reason I just cant remember. Any help would be great.

Now to start cleaning this thing up and start shopping for some new electronics. The HiTec speed control is fried in it so a new one is a must. It got a little wet and after it went out is when it got put to the side for other projects a while back and now I want to get it going again.

I need something a bit old school to compliment all me new r/c toys. :D

Is it some kind of associated RC10 conversion?

Looks like an old AYK Maverick/Radiant Pro. I have a feeling you'll have your work cut out for you with regards to finding parts - they're pretty tough to come by.

I think you nailed it. But those shocks look like AE shocks, or old Duratrax gold shocks. If they leak, they're Duratrax. :)

I'm going to say its a team associated buggy with on road body posts

With some help of some members on another forum we figured it out and I think one of the members there just might have a few of the parts I am after for it to at least get it going.

As for the shocks, I forgot what I used its been so long but I know they are not the original AYK shocks. I bought this thing used from a local track here back in like 1991 and then converted it for the heck of it and drove it for about 3 years then it ended up getting a bit wet and the ESC stopped working and thats when it got set aside for other projects and then about 2 weeks ago dug out all my old rc stuff and decided I wanted to get this running again.

I will be taking plenty of pictures as soon as I round up some parts and get under way with the rebuilding process. If anyone does find parts or have a line on any let me know. :)

Now to Brushless or brushed.... Hmmm....

To me it looks like a RC10 joined with a stampede and with savage style side chassis.

also it looks like it has a dahms racing body, i think they made a pathfinder, a cherokee, and some other bodies that used cooling vents for the esc's.

Could you post a picture of the underside? I'm really curious as to how the chain driven 4WD works with the motor behind the rear axle.

Yes it is an old Dahms Racing Pathfinder body. It was one of my first less than impressive paint jobs. I have gotten way way better since that one. :)

I will try to get a few more better detailed pictures of it later today when I get home.

As for the RC10, I think I put RC10 shocks on it (Been so long I cant remember anymore) and I know the front fiberglass shock mount is original but I did make the rear shock/body mount.
