Olympus ran a contest to show how tough their waterproof/crushproof cameras are...out of over a thousand submissions from around the world they just announced I won...;)

...and yeah...the camera survived the end...haha

I found it interesting that most of the entries had more of a "Look at the cool stuff I'm in to" vibe, rather than a "Look how tough this camera is" theme. Your video was one of the few that actually abused the camera to some degree. Congrats on the win! Which location are you going to select for your prize?

hehe...yeah. I had a quick release on the mount...the hit was hard enough for the camera to go flying and hit the brick barrier that I hit...lol

The car, cam mount, & camera were fine...

Yeah that was what most people have mentioned...the high dive was cool showing the waterproof-ness...

We're going to do the 6days/5nights at the Atlantis, Bahamas...we were 10 yrs ago for our honeymoon...fitting that we'll go back for our 10 yr anniv in Apr...

Not sure details yet...

I joked with my wife about throwing an RC in the luggage to run on the Bahamian beaches....she actually DIDN'T say no...hahaha

She shouldn't have a problem with you bringing along an RC - it played a big role in paying for the trip! Have fun!
