Aftershock jumping out of gear

my aftershock wont stay in gear when i first start driving it, it will pop back in gear at idle then pop back out as soon as i give it any gas, it stops doing it after it warms up or something, my buddies does the same exact thing. anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Sounds like the one way bearing in the low speed gear , take apart the 2 speed assemby and clean the bearing with denatured alcohol and let it dry , then put ONLY 1 or 2 drops of some 3n1 or some other light oil and re assemble it.

You have to do this every once and a while to keep it from slipping , you can also upgrade the 2 speed too the LST2 spec , it has a better one way/low gear hub setup than the Aftershock has and it will bolt right up with no mods .

We got a couple bad 2-speed one-way bearings in a row on an LST2. It wouldn't surprise me if they've just had a bad run.

I would contact Losi. I bet they'll send you one.

BashemSmashem has an even better idea though... see if you can't get ahold of an LST2 one (hopefully not from the same batch ours were from!) and upgrade. The Aftershock ones are a bit lame anyway.
