Slipper clutch tight? I had one just yesterday that didn't seem like it was shifting until we made sure the slipper was tightened down.
All the way out as in the spring and everything fell apart? How many turns?
How's the tune on the engine?
*I assume MGT8.0 here also... Same stuff applies but the 8.0 would make the slipper less obvious.

4.6 version....pretty sure slipper was good, but i will double check this..Took the trans apart to check out also but didnt really see anything that was off...Engine is a screamer..no issues at all there(well unless i blow it up because its over rev'd in 2 seconds) LOL thanks for the input..

So how actually does the trans work in this truck..

Clutch is just a centrifugal unit that's attached to the engine. Then there's the big spur gear that has the slipper clutch on it, and that's probably what would be causing your slippage issues.
Inside the box that attaches to a bevel gear, then to the 2-speed assembly, and finally the reversing gears. I haven't had one of those apart in a while, but they're pretty simple. The 2-speed is similar to the centrifugal clutch on the engine but with a little finger instead of the shoes.
There's not really much to go wrong, but if you loosen the 2-speed adjuster screw 1/4 turn at a time, it will cause the truck to shift sooner.
However, if your slipper is slipping, no 2 speed adjustment in the world will make it work properly.

Are you sure everything is ok in the trans? The only problem I've had was stripping the 2nd gear spur. You'll need to take the shaft out that has the 2-speed gears out to see it good. If the gear looks good, the 2-speed clutch is probably sticking - this part http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFTY8&P=Z .

you can also check the spring underneath the set screw it might have fall off ..and theres like a small ball (idk what its called) in there that engages the clutch ..
