"HWCGermany #2, VW Camper"
MBox finally came out with a handful of sharp castings during the last 2 years.
These VW Camper Vans weren't real abundant like the MiniCooper Van or the F-100 Trucks so I had friends send me all they could gather from the stores.
The stripped castings had to be filed of lots of ragged edges inside all the window openings and casting seams were removed from all 4 corners.
That being accomplished they clean up real nice.
The single MBox rivet post being of slightly smaller diameter than those of HW's is tricky to tap but can be done with care and the same 3/32" bit.
I planned this one as the first Black Camper online but while it sat awaiting assembly I see that a Black VW Camper has been released.
Primered and shot entirely Black,
Intercoat Cleared, lower half taped and upper half shot a simple mix of nothing but RU311 Reducer and Turquoise Pearl-Ex Powder,
Tape removed and entirely shot with Oriental Blue Intensifier,
Intercoat Cleared and Upper half taped and lower half dusted with Aztec Gold Pearl-Ex Powder.
Detailed with front and rear Windshield trim and all door handles,
Painted Taillights,
My Center Caps for Headlights,
Base is primered and shot Fine Orion Silver, then cleared with HOK Urethane.
Roof insert scuffed with ScotchBrite Pad, lightly dusted with Adhesion Promoter, then shot Shimrin White, Decaled and installed prior to ClearCoating.
5mm Center Caps Customize and brighten up an already decent looking rim.
ClearCoated with HOK Urethane Clear.
Rivet reassembly for permanency.
All Products used are exclusively House Of Kolor, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sascha, this is Custom #2 of several soon headed your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You German guys can see I took a little artistic license with your Logo and colorized the HotWheels text and border around this particular image.
Other colors within the image also had their colors brightened up with Reds and Yellows.

I have to say I really like what my Center Caps do for dressing out these rims.
