"Zombie Zone" Dairy Delivery
I made my first Zombie Customs for the Atlanta Nationals back in '05 or '06.
Then I made some for the Dearborn Nat's.
Here's my latest take on my Zombie theme, "Zombie Zone".
Making Promotional Customs gives me the chance to come up with themes you might never see on Custom Diecast and allows me the chance to lay down some really unusual graphics in all the colors of the Rainbow, and then some.
The Dairy Delivery is stripped and undergoes an hour of filing, sanding and rubbing down with #3 Steel Wool to remove all imperfections on the body, wheel wells and window openings.
Primered and shot Shimrin White and SnowWhite Pearl on the side panel window sections.
Intercoat Cleared and the panels are taped.
Fenders are base shot Black and then Planet Green darkened with a touch of Black.
Fenders are Intercoat Cleared and then taped.
Body sides are shot a light coat of Shimrin White and then Limetime Pearl.
Intercoat Cleared and the lower sides are taped.
Upper half is shot Black and all tape is removed.
Decals and Details are applied,
Quad Rhinestone Headlights,--------- Mikey likes it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
House Of Kolor Urethane Clear with a dose of Organic Green Intensifier for tint and Spring Green Pearl-Ex Powder deepens all the colors and ties them together.
Mixing the HOK Intensifiers (toners) into your Clearcoat allows yet another way of producing an infinite variety of paint schemes and colors.
Black shifts to Emerald Green in the sunlight and looks a foot deep.
Rivet reassembly,
All Products Used Are Exclusively House Of Kolor, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Zombies on the roof look like they are floating down from the night sky.
Center Caps dress out the Larry's Garage wheels.
Center Cap for the Gas Cap.
But wait, the entire upper half of the Dairy is solid Black!!!!!!
How can those InkJet Decals look so bright and colorful on that Black background???????????
Even those Purple and Green pinstripes around the panel windows!!!!
How is all that possible???????????
It must be Magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least that's what the Bartender says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
