Took a peek at the new layout at http://www.barnstormersrc.com/ today. They made the track a full lane deeper and extended the far right of the track. The layout is now 200' x 90'. I played with my Slash for about 20 minutes and the layout is super sweet. The track has a nice flow of fast turns, and big air. There is also some technical parts like a double double single double. The traction is great with the stock Traxxas tires and the surface was not even fully finished. Opening day is Sunday May 3rd.
The layout is going to be nice for the 1/8th scales too. There is a part that they will close for the Slash but open up for the 1/8th scales. This section has some really big jumps.
I am looking forward to running both my Slash in the spec class and my SC-10 in the short coarse class with a 19 turn.
