Well if your wondering if there is a way of making the REDCAT a bit longer and fitting a SC10 or slash body keeping it 4WD it is possible.

And this is exactly what I am doing to run a SC10 body

My plan on extending the drive shaft?

Original shaft was 2 ends pressed and cross pinned to an aluminum tube. So, some K & S alum tubing opened the end (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXS021&P=7) with a drill till it fit snug on the ends. Then dissasemble, drill a tight hole on each end for the pins, and pressed back in with a vice.

The upper chassis support plate I plan on making a completly new one, for now I just cut it, and extended with some 0.125 styrene and 3mm screws to fasten it together, drilled and tapped.

Stretched the chassis 2.125 to fit the SC10 body 13 inch wheelbase
With slash wheels it widens out the front track to just a hair under 10.5

Pretty cool. I have often argued that this class would be so much better with 4wd trucks! Nice work on the drive shaft.

Pretty cool, but at the end of the day it's still a RedCat.
