I think you have a LVC on... check that... and turn it off!
I you have mmm system it doesn't like venom 7c packs!
Most likely its your batteries!

Why not list out the packs that you have? The esc and motor combo and we'll se if we can't get you going in the correct direction. If not sure ship it my way, I'll get it up and running. Take a volt meter and read the packs at the main plugs to see what voltage they are showing.

Those packs should be charged at 4.5 amps. Check your PM's and see if any of those things help.

I think you have a LVC on... check that... and turn it off!

X2, assuming it's your ESC that's blinking red, your ESC has low voltage cut-off turned on, which is a no-no with nimh cells.

When you plug in your batts and turn on the ESC, what color is the LED? if it is green, then you have LVC enabled. If it is red, it is in nimh mode. (blinking red means LVC is on, and you are below the voltage threshhold - with LVC on, most nimh batteries won't turn the motor at all, even 7 cell batts.)

To turn it off, Plug in your batts, push and hold the power button on the ESC for about 10-15 seconds, it will make a musical falling tone. Should be fine after that.

Keep the Link to the VXL manual handy for future problems. Glad we could help keep you on the electric side. If you want faster get a 3S Li-Po that'll make her go real good.

My LHS says the VXL's come back in quite often when customers are running NiMH w/ the LVC on.

The Traxxas manual is very handy. :teacher:

That's going to be one hot setup. Literally.
