i've just found out that skyartec has released a 5ch Cessna 182... i was actually inquiring for some parts of my f3a supersonic, but Bill (their customer rep) mentioned that they have the 5ch 182 already. the radio is 5ch and skyartec added some functions on the wing / servo.
these are the changes made;
they added flaps

and made the Remote 5ch

Did you purchase this plane?
No , but i was tempted to get one. Compared many sources, hardly get any 5 channel, most of the same model comes with 4 channels.

Has anyone purchased this plane? I was wondering how the Rx and Tx were quality wise. Can anybody help?

Read from forums, many players comment Skyartec quality is quite stable for their plane and helis. Any recommendation, what's the best deal price for 5 channel Cessna? Found some from ebay but worry about the realiability of the sources, would like to get from any other online shops / model shops.

As with anything you have to be careful but if E-bay finds bad practices they will shut down that person. Just happened to a guy I work with. He won the bid on a model car but couldn't get it because E-bay found problems with the seller. Hope this helps.

I'm on eBay 24/7 buying mainly old comics and I've been taken by a few sellers but every time I've filed a complaint I've always gotten my money back (as long as you pay via PayPal you are 100% covered in refunds.) And I'm talking $400 in one instance and $750 in another and was refunded both times.

If you like old comics... I've got about 20 I would give you, you pay shipping.
PM me and I'll give you a list of what I have!!
On Craigslist, there has been some scammers trying to get you to prepay through a fake Ebay page.

Any details on the Craigs list scam?
I was trying to buy a chopper that looked very expensive but was listed for $8900. After sending a reply to the ad I was told a typical scam story of....
"I am in the military overseas, my wife is pregnant and we need money. I will send you an Ebay invoice and you fill in all your information and pay through Ebay so it is safe for both of us. Once I recieve payment, I will ship the bike to you from California."
I sent back that I would pick the bike up since I just so happen to be in California and have an enclosed trailer. (Of course I was in Missouri)
The Response: The bike is actually with my cousin in Texas so it will need to be shipped.... Please fill out all your information and send your payment through Ebay.
I talked to Ebay and sent a copy of the form and they told me it was not from them... You just gotta be careful.

Thank you for that! Yes, we do need to be careful. I should also say that you were very clever with that happen to be in the area, I wonder if you made him sweat just a little?

I don't want to talk you out of buying the plane, but I would like to know if you are a beginner to flying, or do you have experience with flying?

I am a beginner but I have spent many hours on an RC flight simulator. A good friend of mines dad is a huge RC plane fanatic and he is going to help me. My friend started on this plane and he said it was a good plane to start with.

Look at the size of the model... From the picture with a hand holding one I'd estimate 18 to 24 inch span.
Tiny models don't handle wind well at all, especially when a beginner is trying to fly them.
Tiny models tend to respond very rapidly to small control movements, which is also very bad for beginners.
A larger model, such as the Airfield 55 inch trainer (available at NitroPlanes.com) or the E-Flite Apprentice, would be a better choice.

RE: Micro Fasteners.
Best place to get screws, nuts, bolts etc for the hobby. Far cheaper than the little packs of 4 screws at the hobby shops.
