Who watched the Traxxas TORC series race today?

I happen to catch the Traxxas TORC series race on ESPN2 today. Anyone else see it. I love watching those guys beat on each other. I have NASCAR on now and tonight is drag racing. What a good day!

i don't watch the TORC series, don't like it. when it comes to televised off road racing i go with the World Series of Off-Road Racing. seems like they have a wider variety of televised classes. i think the last time i caught it i was watching don't remember the class, they were 4 cylinder buggy's. it ruled. camera angles/footage was better, announcers were better.
i miss the CORR series, that was the best one.

Ummm.... You will not be watching any WSORR races any time soon, that is unless you watch a TORC series race that is. Ricky Johnson bought out WSORR with another owner and re-named it TORC. But I do agree that they do not televise enough of the classes this year. My cousin who races TORC 1600 light buggies used to race the old SODA series then CORR then WSORR, and now TORC. I belive he likes the current TORC series the best. HE HATED CORR. It just sucks because with the current econemy he cannot affor to run all the TORC races on the schedule. (Cannot make it out west)

and thats probably not going to happen. iv watched TORC a couple times. footage sucked, announcers sucked, commercials sucked, course they raced on sucked, it was just a huge suck fest. made me not even want a short course rc anymore, sucked that bad

wish they would televise some SCORE races. that would kick ass

I have to say that I was also not impressed with the perris speedway track at all. Or the announcers. Some of the footage I did like but the rest was just meh. I'd watch SCORE. But then again I will watch any off road racing weather the footage sucks or not lol.

I've got a Tivo wish list for all the various off road racing. Saw this race, there are some things which could be better but I LOVE watching it. Reminds me of racing RC every week! I try to pickup tips about running lines and such. Plus it's quite cool to see real TV ads for RC products (all those Slash commercials). And there was a very interesting commentator (dead heat in a zeppelin race!)

Just watched it this morning on ESPN2. Awesome stuff, I wish it was televised more often. In my opinion, the only thing more fun to watch is motocross or supermoto.

alright i gave it another shot idk probably a 2 weeks ago or so when it came on ESPN2 at i think it was 11:30pm. i just can't get into it. the announcers.... i don't think they had a clue what they were talking about. at one point one of them called one of the drivers by a NASCAR drivers name. the footage. not bad if you like seeing a truck windows pass through the screen. here comes the truck. there goes the truck. why did the camera not fallow the truck? and they were so zoomed in you were looking right in the side window. saw a lot of doors and a lot of dimly lit drivers, but not a lot of racing. when they threw a competition caution i finally lost all interest, got pissed and turned the channel. just can't get into that series

i watched the lusas oil off road racing series on speed channel about a week ago at 1am. much better!
