"AutoFest 2009 Jada Divco Cruizer"
Here's the 3rd car of my 3 car AutoFest 2009 Set.
The Jada Divco Cruizer is definitely in my top 5 favorite castings.
Jada makes their castings so well defined with such pronounced body definition that they lend themselves to be taped and sectioned off easily for complex paintjobs.
They are without the pits, cracks, and scars normally found in nastier Zamac used to shape HW's and MBox.
Stripped and then holes are all drilled for Headlights, then Prepped and Primed.
Fenders are shot LimeTime Pearl then Intercoat Cleared and Taped.
Upper side window panels are shot Fine Orion Silver and then Intercoat Cleared and Taped.
Roof is shot Black then InterCoat Cleared and Taped.
Sides, Hood and Rear is shot Tangelo Pearl, then InterCoat Cleared and Taped.
LimeTime Pearl goes down for the Hood Trim.
All Tape is removed except from roof and upper side panels and a diluted Candy Pagan Gold with Brilliant Gold Pearl Powder is shot over the entire casting.
Remaining tape is removed.
Decals and Details are applied.
Decals created from scratch in PhotoShop.
Quad inlaid Rhinestone Crystal Headlights.
Quad Rhinestone Crystal Taillights.
My Custom Cut Chrome Center Caps are used to make Customized Jada Wheels.
Cleared with House Of Kolor Urethane Clear and a dash of Sparkle gold Pearl Powder.
The pictures here really show how the Pearl Powder color shifts in Sunlight.
All Products Used Are Exclusively House Of Kolor, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Divco completes the 3 car set.
Jada Oil Tanker, HW Dairy Delivery and Jada Divco Cruizer.
Now to make the display and get them shipped out to the AutoFest in Southbend, Indiana in time for their August 14 - 16, 2009 Show.
I'm donating the assembled set to the AutoFest 2009 Charity on behalf of all HobbyTalk Members and hope it will benefit their Association for the Developmentally Disabled of Woodford County.
