I've been flying for over 30 years and this is my first scratch built. I ordered the plans from MAN for the electric jet called the "Strike". For fifteen bucks plus shipping i thought I'd at least get a bill of materials, nada, zilch, zip! Whats the deal with this? I guess I have to determine everything for myself. Seems a rip to me after charging so much one sheet.

Is it a balsa or foam? Can you give me a web site of where I can see the plans?

It's balsa and was in the October issue of MAN. The name of the bird is the Strike and the plan number is M1009A. Is that enough information? :)

It should be but I can't find it on the MAN websight. Can I get to it on the websight? Maybe you can give me a link?

I have tired to find it on the MAN site but no luck. I downloaded the plans PDF and its not in there either. Plus they seem have to a special section for members only thats another 25 bucks which I will not pay. I have a subscription damn it , and that should be enough.

Lets try something else. Maybe you can contact the outfit that sold it to you and get some more info.

What you are seeing is pretty much the state of the art for plans.

I have done three sets of plans and the PT-19 is the only one I developed a materiels list for. That was because Model Aviation Magazine requested it.

You might as well dive in and work up the list yourself stating with sheet wood

By yourself a balsa stripper to sticks off of the sheets with as buying the individual sticks of balsa can be expensive.
