Here is the fuselage as it comes out of the box.
The second photo shows the gas tank already installed, sweet!

Here is the motor box with the firewalled glued in place, notice the layout lines.
As you can see in both photos, I use dowels for added support for the glue joint.

In the first photo you can see the minimal cutting I had to do on the cowl by having the air flow out through the canister tunnel.
The rest of the photos show the finished cowl all buttoned up.

This is the tail and wing pushrod set-up. I went with the Dubro heavy duty connectors because they are dependable and reliable.

I epoxied in my pilot and made sure he didn’t move by adding a weight bag. Many of my pilots don’t like to get inside of my planes, something about my flying track record (see my giant scale racing blog).

The hatch is prepped with wax paper under it to keep the glue from seeping down and preventing it from releasing.

On the last two photos you can see that I use a fair amount of tape to keep everything in place, I let this whole thing dry over night. Make sure you have the canopy bolted in so everything sets-up straight.

Here is some of the stuff that lies below that hatch.

What a sweet looking plane! However did you get that great knife edge shot? You must be good at multi-tasking! :)

That great Knife edge was performed by my crack-shot pilot, Mike G.

I hope to fly the plane this weekend at rabbit:wave:
