I am thinking about building a track in my backyard for my monster truck and would like to replicate one of the tracks that the Monster Jam tour uses. I figured everything out except what would be the best thing to use for the crush cars. I am somewhat of a stickler for detail so I want to make it as real as possible. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to what would be the best thing to use for replica crush cars? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks :)

looking for something like this?
http://www.ricrush.com/crushedcar.html
if they are still in stock.
under misc. parts
Parm-#6 Pre-crushed car body (build your own monster track) $12.50

if that's no luck why not just get some old TC body's and hit them with a heat gun? you can dig those things out of the trash at race tracks for free, melt'm down and spray paint them to match. just an idea

Expensive, but probably as realistic as you can get:

Sweet finds guys. Thanks. i'll have to look into both of these ideas. It would be nice if I could get some old style sedan bodies made from that guy on ebay with the aluminum bodies. Thanks for the help guy's

Those wouldn't crush though Fester.

What about molding aluminum foil over a sedan body? It would crush very easily, but it would be cheap and easy to make new ones.

Actually those bodies I linked above on ebay are basically the same idea...however it is thicker than foil, but close to maybe a heavy tin take-out container (I actually did purchase one).
So Hijacker's idea is a very good one...see if you can find really heavy foil, mold it over a hard plastic sedan/truck body (maybe double/triple the layers with spray adhesive), paint, crush. You can even use a coat-hanger frame to help support the foil a bit more.
Hmm...maybe the ebay cost isn't so much now. lol :D

How about these?

They are crushable, look like vehicles, not expensive and even have sounds! :D

LOL! Sorry...I was mostly joking about the Fisher Price cars; however if they made something like that realistic in 1/10 scale out of memory foam, it'd be awesome! :)
I'm now starting to think maybe some large car-shaped tins would be good. I seen them around somewhere, but can't recall where. I think it was around Christmas last year...maybe Nascar related. Should be nicely crushable and realistic.
Here's one example I found from a manufacturer site (link didn't work):

I had one of those, candy came in it. It was actually pretty heavy tin, and the bends/molds in it gave it some strength. An r/c monster truck definitely wouldn't crush it, although the size was about right, it was about 8 inches long
