i wanted to get some honest opinions be for i buy one of these radios. i was wondering if these radios bind when u start them up, and do they stay bind when the next time they start up? the tactic 2.4 if it has and internal antenna does it still have good range? .... tell me what u think about these radios.

I hear the range is great on both of them. All the average person would need.

Basically though:

Tactic is $80
-No receiver antenna
-Only 4AA batteries needed
-Adjustable steering end points

Traxxas is $120 for the 2 channel model, $140 for the 4 channel
-Antenna (though it is much shorter than AM/FM radios)
-8AA batteries needed
-No adjustments

I would definetely buy the Tactic.

I think if it were me, I'd get this before I got any of the Traxxas or Tactic ones.

YEah, but then your looking at 90 bucks for additional Rx's. I only have two trucks with a third to come. I dont race so I do not mind having to re adjust trims for each truck. I dont see paying 90 bucks for each additional Rx's.
