I have gone to a few races and have seen guys with small compressors. I wish that I stopped and asked one of them what kind they had. The ones that I am interested in are very quiet and blow hard enough to clean the dirt off of the chassis. If someone has a link it would be great. I have searched and can't find the one that I saw. Again the model has to be ultra quiet. Thanks for helping.

They're not the best I'm sure, but my little 1.5gal has worked flawlessly for airing up tires, cleaning stuff, and the occasional impact wrench. The only thing I've been less than happy with is the performance with the impact wrench. The tank just isn't big enough.

For the purposes of the OP, it is a little loud though... They might have others. :)

The Home Depot unit looks good though... I need a bigger compressor. :(
