Whats going on with Car Action these days?....I thought that the introduction of this charger hot on the heels of the Reedy,

http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/showthread.php?t=257562

would have brought on an instant comparison of these awesome chargers.

I, for one, would have loved to have known that the Reedy does not do 3 amp charging...a deal breaker for me.

Sorry you feel this way, but the forum is used for informing readers of new rc products and race news, not for product reviews and comparisons.

Um...
It did say that it didn't charge at 3 amps.
"Selectable charge rate of 1, 2, or 4 amps"
I understand what you are saying but I don't think that "Hot News" is the correct venue for Car Action to compare products to one another. It's a venue for manufacturers to announce new products to the hobby community.
Just my 2¢. :D

idk about everyone else, but the only batteries I charge near 3A are my 3,000mAh lipos.

All my Sub-C packs get 5A, small batteries get .50-1.4 depending on the battery.

I'm pretty sure I bought this same charger in 1989, only it said Astro-Flight on it. Don't think it did nimh tho...
